THE SIMPLIFICATION OF LIFE is a retreat that explores the mystery of the birth of Christ within.  Retreatants will journey under the guidance of Spiritual Director, Catherine Tran, with an emphasis on keeping life simple in a very hectic and work-aholic culture. Learn how to say 'no' with integrity and clarity. The retreat includes daily reflections, a guide for praying the daily office, audio instruction, and optional individual spiritual direction (in person or by Skype).
The spiritual classic, A Testament of Devotion by Thomas R. Kelly will be a primary resource for reflections and instruction. (Purchasing the book is optional but recommended. If you use the book link on this page, you will help to support Creative Spirituality.)

This retreat is IDEAL FOR CONGREGATIONS or a parish office staff.  In addition to the online group interactions and materials, parishes can take advantage of the following features:   
  • the online format makes it easy for parishioners to participate
  • individual participation can be enhanced by group work such as in home gatherings with a meal or group discussions of the teaching materials
  •  prayer exercises can be used by a parish staff, leadership group, or other group
  • all materials are prepared for you, conserving the efforts of your volunteers for other worthwhile projects
  • individually paid tuition leaves no cost for the parish and creates personal investment
  • for a nominal fee, Catherine is available to participate with your groups or to preach at your services (Denver area only).
